Hoa Hoi Industrial Park is thriving again.

(GLO) – After years of delays due to obstacles in infrastructure investment and land clearance, the Hoa Hoi Industrial Park (Hoa Hoi commune, Gia Lai province) is showing clear signs of progress.

Not only is the basic infrastructure for phase 1 complete, but the work of attracting secondary businesses and preparing for the implementation of phase 2 of the project is also showing many positive signs.

The technical infrastructure for phase 1 is basically complete.

Compared to many other industrial parks, the scale of the Hoa Hoi Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project , invested by Phuc Loc Industrial Park Investment and Development Corporation, is not large, but the implementation progress is very slow.

Before the provincial merger, the technical infrastructure for phase 1 of the 176.8-hectare project was still unfinished, with weeds growing everywhere, turning a vast area into a grazing ground for local livestock.

Even the drainage canal from the industrial park to Ben Loi bridge, only about 200 meters long, could not be constructed because the investor and the residents had not yet found common ground on compensation and land clearance. However, the above story has become a thing of the past, giving way to a new look.

Returning to Hoa Hoi Industrial Park on May 26th, we observed a significant transformation. The entire area of ​​phase 1 of the project has been leveled and divided into various sub-zones, connected by a system of concrete roads.

The industrial park has been fully invested in with lighting, fire protection, drainage, and landscaping systems. The first phase of the centralized wastewater treatment plant, with a capacity of 1,200 m³ ^per day/night, and the wastewater collection pipeline system have also been put into operation by the investor. The electricity supply for production within the industrial park is fully covered, ensuring the needs of secondary investors are met.

Mr. Tran Hong Minh, Deputy Head of the Hoa Hoi Industrial Park Management Board (under Phuc Loc Industrial Park Investment and Development Corporation), stated: Currently, the environmental permit for the industrial park has been granted to the company by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

By mid-June 2026, the clean water supply pipeline system in the industrial park will be completed, ensuring the needs for daily life and serving the production and business activities of secondary investors .

Regarding the canal project from the industrial park’s discharge point to Ben Loi Bridge (total investment of 5.9 billion VND), which is determined to be outside the industrial park, Hoa Hoi commune must implement it according to the Law on Public Investment.

However, the company is willing to bear the costs to implement the project according to the approved plan. After completion, the company will hand it over to the local authorities for management and operation.

Efforts to attract investment to Hoa Hoi Industrial Park have also seen many positive changes. Currently, there are four foreign enterprises in the industrial park that have built or are in the process of building production and business facilities.

In addition, three businesses have signed preliminary contracts with Phuc Loc Industrial Park Investment and Development Corporation to implement three projects in the industrial park with a total investment of 42 million USD.

Preparing the site for phase 2 implementation.

Along with mobilizing resources to complete the infrastructure investment for phase 1 of the project and strengthening efforts to attract new investment projects to Hoa Hoi Industrial Park, Phuc Loc Industrial Park Investment and Development Corporation is coordinating with local authorities to prepare for the implementation of infrastructure investment for phase 2 of the project, covering an area of ​​over 88 hectares.

Mr. Thai Anh Tuan, General Director of Phuc Loc Industrial Park Investment and Development Corporation, said: The company has hired a consulting unit to carry out cadastral surveying work and will soon complete the technical documents to transfer to the local authorities as a basis for compensation and land clearance.

At the same time, prepare the necessary funds to compensate organizations and individuals whose residential land and agricultural land are located within the scope of phase 2 of the project.

Meanwhile, the People’s Committee of Hoa Hoi commune has established a working group to assist the compensation, support, and resettlement council and the land valuation council for phase 2 of the project; it has also intensified propaganda about the purpose, significance, and positive impacts of the project on the socio-economic development of the locality in particular and the province in general. At the same time, it has organized public meetings, announced the planning, and publicly disclosed the areas requiring land acquisition for phase 2 of the project. The commune has also conducted a review to identify the number of households and the area of ​​land affected in order to provide timely information to the people.

Mr. Tran Xuan Vuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hoa Hoi Commune People’s Committee, informed that approximately 154 households are affected by phase 2 of the project, including about 20 households whose houses require compensation and land clearance.

Initially, the local authorities have conducted an inventory of land area for 40 households and will continue to inventory the remaining households, as a basis for implementing the next steps. The commune has prepared land plots in the resettlement area, ready to allocate to households affected by the project.
