Gia Lai: 700 businesses to participate in the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference
At the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference, the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee will award memoranda of understanding for investment cooperation to nearly 120 projects with a total registered capital of billions of USD; and simultaneously grant investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates to nearly 130 projects with a total registered capital of over 8 billion USD.
The 2026 Investment Promotion Conference, organized by the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, will be held on March 28th at the Provincial Conference Center (No. 1 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Quy Nhon Ward). This is one of the key activities during the Opening Week of the National Tourism Year – Gia Lai 2026, promising to open up many breakthrough opportunities for the local economy.
According to the organizers, the 2026 Investment Promotion Conference is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates, including approximately 700 domestic and foreign businesses and entrepreneurs. At the event, the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee will award Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) for nearly 120 projects, with a total registered capital of billions of USD; and grant investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates for nearly 130 projects, with a total registered capital of over 8 billion USD.
In addition to the provincial leaders’ statements on Gia Lai province’s investment attraction orientation in the coming period and the directives from the Government leaders, economic experts, diplomatic organizations, and investors will provide in-depth analyses of the advantages, development potential, investment and trade opportunities in Gia Lai province, and the orientation and strategies for the investment environment of Vietnam in general and Gia Lai province in particular.
In addition to the main program, the conference also includes side activities such as visiting OCOP product display booths, promoting tourism, and conducting on-site surveys of investment opportunities in the locality.
The conference was held to reaffirm the province’s determination to realize the targets and objectives set out in the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, making Gia Lai a shining example of growth in the region.
This is also an opportunity for the province to comprehensively introduce and promote its potential, advantages, and development orientation, creating conditions for domestic and foreign investors to learn about the investment environment, mechanisms, preferential policies, and key investment attraction areas of the province; thereby providing a basis for promoting research, surveys, proposals, and implementation of investment projects, and expanding cooperation between Gia Lai province and domestic and foreign partners.
The conference also provides an opportunity for businesses and organizations in the province to promote and introduce their local products, services, and strengths, contributing to connecting with partners, investors, and organizations both domestically and internationally; supporting businesses in accessing opportunities for cooperation, production linkages, value chain development, enhancing competitiveness, and effectively exploiting the province’s potential and advantages.
